Pure Horse Play is the love child of passion and equestrian sports. It stemmed from what was just a hobby for Michhelle Phillips and her three daughters. They bought their first horse (Ms. Easy Breezy 3000) that was malnourished and near her death bed and while nursing her back to health, built a trusting relationship with the horse and an even stronger relationship amongst themselves.

As mother and daughter's they found that sharing a hobby meant sharing their lives together in a more productive and communicative way. Their love for horses was evident in the way they cared for their horse. They rode their horse as often as they could to develop the skills it takes to be a great rider. They then acquired a second horse (Ms. Velvet) who was also severely under weight and needed medical care. The girls went right to work with adding their love, attention, and getting veterinarian care for this horse.

Michelle trained her horses to be the perfect companion while on and off their back.  As a family they spent numerous hours with their horses just talking with them walking with them and studying their habits.  Soon many neighbors and friends began to come around and ask for advice, lessons and pleasure rides as they found their relationship with their horses fascinating.  Before they knew it, they had begun to form a lifestyle and a business around their passion.

As Michelle and her girls’ naturally acquired skills began to grow, she realized that her expertise could help others who may have just the same passion for horseback riding that she and her daughters possessed. It was then that they decided together as a family they would assist others to learn and love to ride just as they had.  Just 4 girls, their 2 horses, and their love for horses was the fuel that fired the engine. They put ads in the local paper, passed out flyers and business cards and news began to spread about these girls and their horses.  They put ads on Groupon, Living Social, Facebook and the like offering their services to the community at a nominal fee. The out pour of consumers was more than they imagined and before they knew it, they had relationships with over 500 new friends who had patronized their business in just 3 months.  They later acquired 2 more horses (Big Mama and Baby) and their own facility to help them handle the demand and popularity of the services offered. As of today, they now own 15 horses and a 32 acre ranch,

The Phillips girls handle everything from special events, corporate team building and employee appreciation, birthday parties, anniversaries and engagements, to pleasure rides, lessons, and even trail rides. Every patron gets the opportunity to feel the spirit of love with the animals and of a true cowboy/cowgirl from the moment they begin their experience with Pure Horse Play. The experience is so captivating; their new horse riding friends leave with a connection lasting long after their first visit to the ranch.

The Pure Horse Play experience is addicting in its own right!
